Step into Market City, a world where every team becomes the head of their own brand mafia. Your goal? Build your empire, outsmart rivals, and become the ultimate Marketing Mafia Don.
You'll:
- Launch creative ads

Event-Specific Rules
- Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
- Cross-college teams are allowed.
- Teams must maintain professional decorum — chaos is for the game, not the participants.
- No use of mobile phones or the internet during the rounds (unless instructed)
- Decisions made by the event heads/judges are final and binding.
- Teams found cheating or leaking information unfairly will be disqualified.
- Each round has specific time limits — exceeding them leads to penalties.
- All props and cards must be returned at the end of each round.
Round 1: Brand Foundation – Build Your Empire
Goal: Create your brand identity and persona.
Each team will:
- Pick a sector (fashion, tech, food, etc.)
- Come up with a brand name, logo, slogan, and mafia title (Example: "The Cola Cartel", "House of Hype")
- Pitch your brand in 30 seconds
- Start with 500 BizCoins
Round 2: Market Mayhem – Buy, Trade, Sabotage
Goal: Survive the chaos and grow your influence.
Teams can:
- Buy Ad Cards (billboards, influencer posts, etc.)
- Use Press Cards to spread or protect stories
- Make alliances or betrayals
- Use Sabotage Cards (e.g., "Your ad got banned", "Your influencer is cancelled")
Market Regulators (the hosts) will announce random crises every few minutes:
- "Recession hits — tech brands lose half their stock."
- "New trend alert — adapt fast to earn bonus coins!"
Will be judged by other team members.
Round 3: The Final Takeover
Goal: Launch your final campaign and take over Market City.
Top teams present their Final Mafia Move — a bold marketing campaign that shocks the market.
Include:
- A new product or PR stunt
- A short ad/skit/presentation
- A catchy slogan
Example:
- "The Cola Cartel exposes rival secrets through Coke-spiracy!"
- "House of Hype renames the city after their brand!"
